About Letter Boxed Solver

We got tired of one thing: you go looking for a small hint on the day's Letter Boxed, and the first site you land on hands you the whole answer before you've read a word. The puzzle's over, and you never asked for that.

So we built the solver we wanted. You decide how far to go — a gentle nudge, just the two-word solutions, or the complete answer laid out. Nothing is revealed until you ask for it. The board you came to beat stays beatable.

Under the hood, we read each day's twelve letters and run a solver that finds every valid word chain, not just one. You get the official New York Times answer, clearly marked, next to all the other ways the puzzle can be solved. Want to go off-script? Enter any twelve letters — a board a friend texted you, a past puzzle, or letters you made up — and solve it the same way.

No login. No daily limit. No wall of ads between you and the answer. That's the whole pitch.

We're a small independent project, not a media company, and we read everything sent to . Found a wrong answer or a word we're missing? Tell us — that feedback is how the solver gets better.
